Arrive car-free
Into the mountains by rail
The Vinschgau is one of the few Alpine regions with its own railway to the end of the valley: the Vinschgau railway (Vinschgerbahn) brings you to Mals — and on site, with the VinschgauCard included with us, you travel free by rail and bus throughout South Tyrol.
By Vinschgau railway to Mals
From Meran, the Vinschgau railway runs through the valley to Mals station — the most relaxed way to arrive in the Upper Vinschgau.
The last stretch uphill
From Mals station, the way leads up to Prämajur. Just let us know when you arrive — we are happy to advise you personally on the best way up: +39 0473 831415.
Everything car-free on site
The VinschgauCard comes with your stay: free travel by rail and bus throughout South Tyrol all year round — including trips to Meran, Lake Reschen or Glurns. And hiking begins at the front door.
